DEHR Conference
The 2026 Diversity, Equity and Human Rights (DEHR) Conference for Locals will be held at Barnett House, 11010 142 Street NW in Edmonton on 2026 06 04 (eve)–05.
This conference is an opportunity for local DEHR leaders to learn about resources and supports that can be shared with their members. The 2026 DEHR Conference will focus on strategies for supporting colleagues who identify as part of the 2SLGBTQQIA+ communities.
REGISTRATION
Each local is eligible to send two delegates to the conference on a grant-in-aid basis. To register for the conference, please use the following link: Register Here and complete your registration by 1600 Thursday, 2026 05 15.
As per administrative procedures, grants-in-aid are governed by the following:
• transportation—45¢ per kilometre travelled by each authorized car,
• accommodation—$130 per night as substantiated by receipts,
• subsistence—breakfast and lunch will be provided by the Association on Friday; no grant-in-aid will be provided for subsistence.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Participants requiring accommodation are responsible for booking their own hotel rooms. Hotel stays for the evening of 2026 06 04 will be reimbursed for participants who reside more than 100 km from the event site.
The Association has arranged special rates for members at several hotels in Edmonton. When booking, it is recommended to choose from a hotel on the list provided and book using the associated booking code. Association Members' Hotel Partners
