About me
I am a bisexual and neurodivergent teacher, writer, adjunct professor and social justice advocate, and presently one of the leads for the Teachers With Disabilities Diversity and Equity network. I have spent the majority of my 29 year career coordinating services for students with diverse learning needs at the schools I have worked at but always try to incorporate a little of my first love, English Language Arts, in my teaching schedule also. I wrote my PhD dissertation, about an inclusive education topic, as a detective novel because, among other reasons, I think openness to what presents as unfamiliar or hard to understand is a huge first step in inclusion.
